.. RC18T-2 ..

[July 13,2008]

Here are some pics of my second RC18T. This truck is originally stared life as my RC18R. I originally bought this car because my LHS was going to start a stock RC18R class, but it hasn't happened yet. I got bored and figured I would make it into another RC18T. I got a package deal on some parts from a buddy of mine to convert it. These pieces included:
RPM A-arms
Titanium Dogbones
Titanium Axles
Aluminum GPM Castor Blocks
Aluminum GPM Bearing Carriers
Stock Shock Towers

Since I was going to turn this into a RC18T I picked up a few other pieces:
RPM Front Bumper
Spektrum 2.4 Micro RX
Losi Mini-T Street Treads

I also ordered a Reedy Stump Puller motor for this truck to see what it will do. I have heard great things about this motor and wanted to see what it would do. In order to make sure this thing handles like it should with more power, I kept the R shocks at all four corners. This dropped it for the low stance I wanted, but I wanted it a little lower. I rebuilt the shocks with 2 O-rings on the inside and filled them with 45 weight oil. So far this little truck REALLY handles on carpet. I cant wait to get the Reedy installed. I am probably going to grab an Exotek slipper just to make sure I can get all that power to the ground, and go with adjustable turnbuckles throughout. I am going to replace this stock body (borrowed from my other T) with a bug body.
