.. barstool racer ..

[September 16, 2003]

After riding it for about a week, I decided it was ready for paint. Travis and I disassembled it and he went to work on it with the flap wheel. After about an hour, he had the frame almost as smooth enough for paint. I did some touchup and prepped it for primer and paint. After hanging the frame, it was shot with a coat of self etching primer. After letting that cure, I shot it with 3 coats of Sikkens Electric Blue Pearl Metallic. This color is something else. It really has to be seen to be appreciated. I will reassemble it in a day or so and start to build some aluminum trim pieces. I will shoot some videos and will post them on Friday. Check back then!!
